The Timber Trail is supported by an eco system of fantastic operators who are just as passionate about getting out riding as you are.  All the operators listed here are partner members of the trail and where relevant current  Department of Conservation Concession holders.

Pureora Cabins - in the Village

Unique self-catering cabins located in Pureora Village. (Right near the Northern end start of the trail).  Built originally to support the Department of Conservation activities, these basic cabins offer a unique shared accommodation option.
Tent sites and powered sites available with access to facilities.

BOOKING FORM - Complete the form for your cabin bunk bed, tent site, or campervan site and we'll confirm back to you.

Each cabin features:

  • Full stove/oven
  • Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans etc
  • Fridge
  • Toaster and jug
  • Dining chairs and table
  • Each block has serviced toilets and showers with plenty of hot water.

Just bring your own bedding (including pillows) and towels. (And food).   Everything else you need is supplied.

There are six cabins with a variety of configurations, all with bunk beds.

Cabins are located next to the Department of Conservation operations base in Pureora  The trail head is approx. 200m from here..

Cabins are currently being upgraded so configurations may alter.  We will let you know the best options to suit your booking.
