Timber Trail Lodge makes riding the Timber Trail simple, comfortable, and completely stress-free — whether you’re looking for accommodation only or a fully supported ride package.
Purpose-built for riders and located at Piropiro in the heart of Pureora Forest Park, the lodge sits right at the halfway point — making it the perfect place to rest, refuel, and enjoy the journey.
Opened in 2012, this off-grid lodge was designed specifically for the Timber Trail, combining comfort, sustainability, and a deep connection to the surrounding forest. With expansive views across native bush and a peaceful, remote setting, it’s a place where the journey slows down and the experience deepens.
